Hound About Town is a small friendly company providing exclusive, professional pet care in Ruislip, Northwood, Northwood Hills, Eastcote and Pinner. I offer 1-2-1 dog walks, group walks, training walks and 1-2-1 dog training.

I know how important mental and physical stimulation is for your dog but I also know how hard it can be to fit this all in, whether you’re a working professional working shifts, a busy parent or you simply feel your dog needs a bit more than you can manage.

Hound About Town provides dog walking either in small groups of no more than four dogs or solo walks where your dog is walked individually. Dogs are collected in our specially equipped van and driven to a variety of exciting locations including woodlands, forests, rolling country fields and parks.

I also offer an individually tailored walk and train programme to help rehabilitate or train your dog. I can help you to put the perfect foundations in place or give added support whilst you are at work. With a combination of personalised transfer coaching walks I can empower you with the skills to continue with your calm and confident best friend.

This service is ideal for reactive, nervous dogs or rescue dogs as it gets them out and about in the world but they are also taught basic obedience exercises such as walking nicely on the lead, polite greetings and basic impulse control. This is also helpful for teaching puppies or adolescent dogs basic manners and good behaviour and halting any bad habits before they become more serious issues.
