My name is Meli and I am the owner of Little Bat’s Creature Companions.

I began Creature Companions in 2017 so that I could return to working with animals. Originally from New Zealand I lived in Scotland for a number of years before migrating south and now call Newark, Nottinghamshire home.Along with a degree in Zoology, a number of years working as a Veterinary assistant and as a life-long animal guardian and pet sitter I am well versed in the quirks of our furry friends. I’ve lived with cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, mice, chickens, bees and horses. Although the majority of my clients tend to be your regular family pets I’m happy to discuss your requirements for any other species you may have as part of your family.
