I founded Paige’s Pawfect Pet Sitting in October 2016 with the help of the Prince’s Trust. Paige’s Pawfect Pet Sitting is a pet care service based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
I have had a love of animals since I was little, and this is what has led me into opening up my own pet services business. I have owned many different pets throughout my life from cats & dogs, to horses and fish, and even some more exotic pets like a Royal Python called Phoenix, and my 6 Degus: Chunky (RIP), Chewy (RIP), Cheddar, Gouda, Bubbles & Squeak.
My passion for working with animals led to me going to BCA (Berkshire College of Agriculture) to study the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management. I spent two years studying Animal Health, Animal Training, Animal Behaviour & other modules. During my time at college I specialised in working with zoo/exotic animals so I have plenty of experience working with reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians and also your more unusual pets such as degus, chinchillas & hedgehogs. I left college with an overall Merit and then moved on to finding work in the animal industry.
